These policies are intended to be read in conjunction with applicable laws of India, including (as amended from time to time) the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as well as any other sector-specific regulations that may apply. This text is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for independent legal advice.

1. Seller Onboarding and Eligibility

Sellers wishing to list products or services on Koovira must provide accurate information and comply with applicable Indian laws, including consumer protection, e‑commerce, taxation and sector‑specific regulations. Koovira may require identity proofs, business registrations, tax identification numbers and other documentation during onboarding and periodically thereafter.

2. Seller Obligations

  • Provide clear, accurate and non‑misleading descriptions of products and services, including specifications, price, availability, warranties and other material terms.
  • Ensure that all products are genuine, legally sourced, of merchantable quality and in compliance with applicable safety and labelling standards.
  • Comply with Koovira's policies relating to shipping, returns, refunds and replacements, and honour commitments made to buyers via the Platform.
  • Issue proper tax invoices where required by law, with correct GST or other tax details as applicable.

3. Prohibited and Restricted Products

Sellers must not list goods or services that are banned, restricted or otherwise illegal under Indian law or Koovira policies (such as narcotics, weapons, counterfeit goods, or adult content where prohibited). Koovira reserves the right to remove such listings, suspend or terminate the seller's account, and cooperate with authorities where appropriate.

4. Pricing, Taxes and Compliance

Sellers are solely responsible for setting compliant prices and ensuring that all statutory taxes are appropriately collected and remitted. Koovira may display prices on behalf of sellers based on the information they provide but is not responsible for mispricing or non‑compliance by sellers.

Note: This E‑commerce Seller Policy is a general template designed to allocate legal responsibilities to sellers and protect Koovira and TRISHARA VENTURES LLP. It should be further refined with legal and tax advisors to reflect your specific marketplace structure.
