These policies are intended to be read in conjunction with applicable laws of India, including (as amended from time to time) the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as well as any other sector-specific regulations that may apply. This text is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for independent legal advice.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Content Moderation Policy explains how Koovira reviews, filters, restricts, removes or otherwise moderates content on the Platform, including listings, profiles, messages, images, videos, reviews and other user‑generated material. It is designed to protect Koovira, TRISHARA VENTURES LLP, Partners and users, and should be read together with our Community Guidelines, Social Network Policy, Review policies and Terms & Conditions.

2. Moderation Objectives

  • to promote user safety and legal compliance;
  • to reduce harmful, unlawful or misleading content;
  • to preserve a trustworthy environment for commerce, jobs, dating, matrimonial, rentals and other verticals;
  • to protect the rights and reputation of Koovira and TRISHARA VENTURES LLP.

3. Moderation Mechanisms

Koovira may use a combination of automated tools, human review and user reports to identify and manage content that may violate our policies or applicable law. While we strive to apply policies consistently and fairly, not all content is reviewed proactively and some harmful content may be removed only after it is reported or detected.

4. Possible Actions

Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, Koovira may take one or more of the following actions:

  • issue warnings or educational prompts;
  • edit, restrict access to, or remove specific content;
  • temporarily or permanently suspend features (e.g. posting, messaging, listing creation);
  • temporarily or permanently suspend or terminate user accounts;
  • report suspected illegal activity to law enforcement or regulators, where required or appropriate.

5. User Reporting and Appeals

Users can report content or behaviour they believe violates our policies using in‑Platform reporting tools or by reaching out to support. Subject to technical capabilities and legal obligations, Koovira may offer limited mechanisms for users to appeal certain removal or suspension decisions.

Note: This Content Moderation Policy is a general template favouring Koovira and TRISHARA VENTURES LLP by granting broad moderation discretion. It should be further detailed with input from legal and policy experts to align with applicable intermediary guidelines and product design.
