Because a vote from an unverified account is worth nothing. An unverified user is sent to verify first, and a guest trying to vote by email is asked to register rather than being quietly counted.
No. One vote per person, per category, per event. It is checked in code and enforced again by a database constraint, so a race or a retry cannot slip a second one through.
Yes. Each vote also publishes a linked rating out of five with a title, review text and your stated relationship to the property — resident, visitor, neighbour, buyer or other. It is not anonymous feedback.
Anyone with an account can submit a nomination, but it is saved as pending and reviewed by a moderator before it can be voted on. The submitting IP is recorded.
Open the award event you want to nominate into, then use its nominate action. A nomination belongs to a specific event and category, so it cannot be submitted from the general awards page.
Only while that event's voting window is open. Outside it you are told voting is not open.
A Koovira administrator declares the winners. They are not computed automatically from raw vote totals — that is worth stating plainly rather than implying a pure vote count.
No. Nominations are genuinely moderated and the submitter's IP is recorded, but there is no public audit view of that process today.
