Raise a service request
Describe the job — category, date, time, address, phone, notes — and it goes out to providers near you.
One request instead of ringing six numbers.
Searching and reading provider profiles is open. Raising a request needs a free account, because the request carries your address and phone.

One request instead of ringing six numbers.
The form asks scope-narrowing questions and saves the answers onto the booking.
The provider turns up already knowing the problem.
Your request widens in rings — 2km, then 5, 10 and 15 — over about three minutes, instead of being blasted to everyone at once.
The closest available provider gets first refusal.
Providers who accept are listed side by side with their profile and stats.
You choose. You are not assigned.
Two separate flows: an instant fixed-price booking, or a request-a-quote job priced after the visit.
You know up front which kind of job you are booking.
A provider's services, areas and stats on a page you can read before booking — no account needed.
Vet somebody before they have your address.
If the provider finds more work mid-job, they raise an additional quote and you approve or reject it.
No silent scope creep on your bill.
Vendors are invited to quote for the parts a job needs, and you compare them.
Buy the parts at a compared price, not a marked-up one.
Payment sits in escrow and is released to the provider on completion; the provider's commission comes out of their payout, not your bill.
The money is still yours until the job is done.
Twelve booking states — including cancelled-by-you and no-provider-found — each written to a status log with who did it.
Nothing about your job is off the record.
Your scheduled visits laid out as a calendar.
See the week without opening six bookings.
Rate the provider afterwards; the invoice is kept against the booking.
A record you can go back to.
Your contact number is shared with nearby providers so they can respond to your request. Visit times are restricted to 06:00–21:00, and the request form is spam- and content-moderated before it goes out.

Jobs nobody can price without seeing them. You pay the visit charge, then get a written quote.
The final job price is not knowable before the visit — that is the point of this flow.
Raise a requestProviders pay a category commission out of their payout when escrow is released. That is between Koovira and the provider — it is not added to your bill.
To search services and read provider profiles, no. To raise a request, yes — the request carries your address and phone number, so it has to belong to an account.
For a fixed-price job: the provider's base price, plus a 5% Koovira platform fee, plus 18% GST on those two together. For a visit-first job you pay the visiting charge on the same basis, and the job itself is quoted in writing after the inspection.
Only with your approval. If the provider finds extra work they raise an additional quote, and it does nothing until you accept it.
Providers near you, so they can respond to your request. That is how the matching works, and it is worth knowing before you post.
You choose. Your request widens outward in 2km, 5km, 10km and 15km rings over about three minutes; providers who accept are listed side by side with their profile and stats, and you pick one.
It is held in escrow and released to the provider on completion, rather than handed over at the door.
Yes. Cancelled-by-you is one of the tracked booking states, and it is written to the status log with the time and the actor.
No-provider-found is an explicit state, so you are told rather than left waiting.
Yes — visits are restricted to between 06:00 and 21:00, and past dates are rejected.
The form is CSRF-protected and captcha-gated with a 15-minute window, and the name, address and notes are content-moderated; a request flagged as spam or unsafe is blocked rather than sent out.
