These policies are intended to be read in conjunction with applicable laws of India, including (as amended from time to time) the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as well as any other sector-specific regulations that may apply. This text is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for independent legal advice.

1. Purpose of These Guidelines

These Community Guidelines are designed to define expected behaviour across all Koovira verticals and features, including social networking, classifieds, business listings, jobs, real estate, rides, hotels, e‑commerce, dating, matrimonial, events, and community tools. They serve to protect Koovira, TRISHARA VENTURES LLP and the wider community from harmful conduct and content.

2. Core Principles

While specific policies (dating, matrimonial, job portal, etc.) provide more detailed rules, the following high‑level principles apply to all users at all times:

  • Respect: Treat others with dignity and courtesy.
  • Lawfulness: Obey applicable laws of India and avoid any illegal activity.
  • Integrity: Be honest in your dealings, avoid fraud and misrepresentation.
  • Safety: Do not endanger yourself or others, and report harmful content or behaviour when you see it.

3. Respectful Behaviour

  • Do not engage in personal attacks, harassment, stalking, bullying or threats.
  • Do not use slurs or derogatory language aimed at individuals or groups based on religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or other protected characteristics.
  • Respect different viewpoints and avoid unnecessary provocation or trolling.
  • Do not share another person's personal or confidential information (such as phone numbers, addresses, documents) without explicit permission.

4. Prohibited Content

You must not post, upload, share or transmit content that:

  • is illegal, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or exploitative under Indian law;
  • promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, terrorism, extremism, or communal hatred;
  • advocates discrimination or hate against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics;
  • encourages gambling, wagering or betting where prohibited by law;
  • contains malware, phishing links, or deceptive practices intended to defraud or harm others;
  • infringes the intellectual property or proprietary rights of Koovira, TRISHARA VENTURES LLP or any third party.

5. Authenticity and Misuse

  • Do not create fake or misleading accounts, listings, reviews or ratings.
  • Do not impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your identity or connections.
  • Do not engage in spamming, unsolicited messages, chain letters or scams.
  • Do not use the Platform to solicit or facilitate unlawful or prohibited activities.

6. Protection of Minors

Any content that exploits, endangers or sexualises minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement consistent with applicable Indian law. This includes grooming, solicitation, or sharing indecent images of minors.

7. Enforcement and Reporting

Koovira may, at its discretion, remove or restrict content, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other remedial measures where we believe these Guidelines, the law, or other Koovira policies have been violated. Users can report abusive or suspicious content using in‑Platform reporting tools or by contacting Koovira support.
