THE FOUNDING VISION Shri Ram Swaroop Dargan In 1970, when specialized commercial training was scarce in Delhi, Mr. Ram Swaroop Dargan established NMCC. His goal was simple: to create an environment where students from all backgrounds could master the high-speed skill of shorthand. "He believed that shorthand was the 'shorthand to success'—a specialized skill that offered a faster, more reliable route into government service." Under his leadership, NMCC grew from a small room with two typewriters into a multi-generational legacy that has produced tens of thousands of stenographers, assistants, and section officers across India. 50+ YEARS OF SERVICE OUR EVOLUTION Milestones of Progress 1970 Inception NMCC opens its doors with its first batch of English Shorthand students. 1985 Modernization Introduction of Hindi Shorthand and professional typing certification programs. 2000 SSC Focus Launch of dedicated SSC CGL and Steno Grade C/D coaching divisions. 2015 Digital Era Implementation of computer-based testing (CBT)
