What students and employers ask first.
Who can join CareerLab?
Anyone at diploma level or above — diploma, undergraduate, post-graduate or a professional course. You will be asked for your course, institution and roll number during enrolment, and applications below diploma level are not accepted.
Do I need a Koovira account?
To browse programs, open a Career Passport or verify a certificate, no. To enrol and do the work, yes — enrolment starts by creating a free Koovira account and verifying your email with a one-time code.
Is it free?
It depends on the program. Some programs run at no cost and some are paid; the live fee for each is shown on the pricing section of this page and on the program card itself. There is no fee to create an account or to look around.
How do I pay?
Through your Koovira Wallet. Add money to the wallet, then the program fee is deducted when you enrol and a GST-inclusive invoice is recorded against your account. There is no separate card checkout inside CareerLab.
What happens right after I enrol?
Your enrolment record is created with its own ID, any complimentary benefits attached to that program are provisioned, and your daily tasks begin. Your dashboard opens on day one of the program.
What do I actually get at the end?
A Career Passport you can link to, and — if you clear that program's performance threshold — a certificate with a public verification page. Above the performance bar you can also request a letter of recommendation, which a mentor reviews before it is issued.
Can an employer check my certificate?
Yes, and without an account. Every certificate carries an ID that cannot be guessed, and the public verification page shows the participant, program, track, duration, performance and issue date, along with whether the certificate is still valid or has been revoked.
Do I earn money from CareerLab?
Some tasks and jobs carry a reward that is credited to your Koovira Wallet, but only after a reviewer approves that specific piece of work. Nothing is paid automatically, amounts vary by task, and CareerLab is not an income guarantee.
What if I stop halfway?
Your progress stays on your record and the enrolment stays in your account. Certificates are only issued for completed programs that meet the performance threshold, so stopping early means no certificate for that program.
Can a certificate be taken away?
Yes. A certificate can be revoked with a written reason, and the public page will then show it as revoked. That is deliberate — it is what makes the credential worth checking.
