Terms & Conditions

1.1 Acceptance

By accessing, browsing, registering, or using Koovira, you agree to be bound by: (a) these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”); (b) the Privacy Policy; (c) the Community Guidelines; and (d) any module-specific policies in this Policy Pack. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1.2 Definitions

“User” means any person who accesses or uses the Platform.

“Customer” means a User who purchases, books, pays, or transacts.

“Merchant/Seller/Service Provider” means a User who lists, sells, provides services, or receives orders/leads.

“Content” includes text, images, audio, video, listings, messages, reviews, documents, KYC files, and any other user-submitted materials.

“Wallet” means any stored value, credits, or internal ledger maintained within Koovira (if enabled).

1.3 Eligibility

You represent that you are at least 18 years old, or you are accessing the Platform under parental/guardian supervision where legally permitted. Certain modules (dating/matrimonial) are strictly 18+.

1.4 Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your credentials, OTPs, and devices.
• You must promptly notify us of unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud, policy violations, or legal non-compliance.

1.5 Platform Role; Intermediary Status

Koovira acts as a technology platform and, for user-generated content and listings, generally functions as an “intermediary” as understood under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Intermediary Rules, 2021. We do not control or guarantee the quality, legality, safety, or accuracy of third-party listings or content.

1.6 Prohibited Uses

You shall not:

• Upload, post, transmit, or store unlawful content, including content prohibited under Indian law (obscenity, CSAM, hate speech, defamation, IP infringement, etc.).
• Use the Platform for scams, money laundering, fraud, impersonation, or phishing.
• Attempt to breach security, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Platform.
• Use bots or automated tools without prior written consent.

1.7 Transactions; Third-Party Providers

Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways. Shipping, delivery, cab services, and hotel services may be provided by third parties. Their terms may apply. Koovira is not responsible for third-party failures beyond our reasonable control.

1.8 Fees, Charges, Taxes

Prices, fees, commissions, convenience charges, platform fees, cancellation fees, and taxes (including GST as applicable) may apply and will be disclosed during checkout or in the module policies.

1.9 Suspension and Termination

We may suspend/terminate accounts and/or remove content/listings for: (a) suspected policy breaches; (b) legal complaints; (c) risk to users; (d) compliance obligations; or (e) repeated violations. Where required by law, we will provide notice and an appeal mechanism.

1.10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koovira shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability, where allowed, shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Koovira in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

1.11 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Koovira and Trishara Ventures LLP from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your Content, your transactions, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

1.12 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer laws, courts having jurisdiction at Dehradun, Uttarakhand shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

1.14 Defamation, Misuse, and Third-Party Harm

• You are solely responsible for your Content, including statements about individuals or businesses. You shall not post defamatory, misleading, or unlawful statements.
• Koovira does not endorse user Content and is not responsible for accuracy, completeness, or legality of user statements.
• Koovira may remove or restrict Content and may preserve information for lawful requests.
• You agree that disputes between users (including defamation claims) are primarily between the users involved, subject to Koovira’s notice-and-action process and legal compliance.
