How is the delivery charge calculated when I order from several stores?
Delivery cost is the cost of moving a parcel, not a percentage of what the items cost. Each store in your order dispatches its own parcel, so the shipping total is divided equally across the stores you bought from.
This matters because a cheap item and an expensive item cost roughly the same to deliver. Splitting the charge by item value would have loaded almost the entire delivery cost onto whichever store sold the pricier product, which is not how delivery actually works.
The amount you pay does not change either way — only how it is recorded against each store, which keeps each store's invoice and settlement accurate.
Quick Commerce may carry a higher delivery charge than Regular Commerce because of the faster fulfilment.
