THE STORY BEHIND US Originally built in the 1930s, our iconic Art Deco building began as a residential apartment complex. During the Second World War, it was taken over by the British and used as army barracks. After the war, with residents having relocated, the building was converted into a hotel. For over 75 years, it has stood proudly among the trusted hotels near Gateway of India, welcoming guests with timeless charm.
